Taylor Swift shared some exciting news today with her fans on Ustream just moments ago. She will be releasing her third studio album, "Speak Now" the follow-up to 08's "Fearless" on October 25th! While the album's first single, "Mine," will be released around mid-August. The 20-year-old singer/songwriter co-produced "Speak Now" with longtime collaborator Nathan Chapman, who worked with her on "Fearless" and her 2006 self-titled debut. Personally, I'm not excited that Taylor Swift is coming back so soon! I mean, it hasn't been long enough since her last album and winning almost everything she was nominated for in all the award shows! I use to love Taylor during the release of her self-titled debut album but with the massive success with the 2nd album "Fearless", the commercial success, switching over to mainstream Pop radio, all her singles doing well on the music charts and becoming a huge breakout star of 2009...It was like Taylor Swift OVERLOAD(for me) ! She really needs to rest her pretty little head but don't get me wrong, Taylor is undeniably talented and there is no doubt in my mind that her songs are catchy yet meaningful and I can also admit that there is something inside of me that is (a little) excited for new music... I just feel that new music and a new album THIS YEAR FROM TAYLOR SWIFT is a little much. And I also had this feel that the whole "CoverGirl" thing was to promote her 3rd album! DUH! lol! Anyone could have seen that one coming! I'M JUST SAYING! lol!
THE POINT IS: New music and new album from Taylor Swift THIS YEAR is just too soon (for me)!
