London based band The Script have had a successful crossover to the US. Their self-titled debut album continues to sell and single "Breakeven" peaked to #12 on the Billboard Hot 100. In the UK the guys are ready to move onto their sophomore effort titled "Science & Faith" due out on September 13th! Here we have the first single "For the First Time" which premiered today. The song is a beautiful pop/rock power ballad that will most likely be released later in the US aswell. Be sure to check it out, Enjoy!!

The script is Dublin based not London based
the script may be based in london but they are born and bred irish
Yes they are from Dublin, Ireland but they are based out of London! Does it really matter.. what do you think of the single!

As a person living in the US and having heard the single, I can honestly tell you I don't know how the single will fare here in the States.
I realize this may be a bit of a premature juxtaposition, but I think this single pales in comparison to Break Even. My main gripe with it is that it's a bit generic, and the vocals sound a bit more processed and canned than in their previous album.
I'm personally not looking for any spectacular licks vocally or instrumentally to impress me, but I was a bit disappointed to hear the vocals being rather enhanced.
