For the me, the video concept is awesome, but it falters in video quality consistency. The red and blue scenes looks beautiful, but the green scene looks like it was just thrown together. You can even see behind the fabric.

i Love Nicki. i Love this song. i thinks it's decent for what it is, but i think, for me, the bottom Line is that despite Loving "your Love" since it was on the mixtape i don't feel it gives the pubLic a real sense of her styLe or persona. nearly every feature she's been on has focused/showcased her crazy kookie fun styLe N fLare, but this song just doesn't apply itself for her to really show people "BAM! this IS NICKI MINAJ!!!".

my first exposure to Nicki was when she performed "Shaken it for Daddy" on 106 & Prk with Robin Thicke N it bLew my mind. i want other people experiencing her for the first time to get that too, N i just don't see this song or video doing that...
all that aside, the video is pretty unqiue for this new generation of artists. granted, i instantly thought of Janet's "Call on Me", but despite that being more recent janet [06] he is still an artist of past generations. my main fLaws with the video were the scenes of her rawkin the bLonde wigg...the Look just didn't seem to fit [and i hate that wig...same style she rawked in LiL freak] ...the hair in this video was all kinda dull to me...yes the simpLe dark Look was fitting for the concept, but again this ties into me wanting crazy kookie nicki... where's the "my chick badd" hair??!?!
RegardLess she's beautifuL, taLented, and packed with star power. i truly hope she's the first femaLe rapper to really bLow up on a Large pop scale!!!
P.S am i the only one who wishes "knockout" would bLow up?!?! i think if givin enough airpLay on top40 that shit would catch on Like wiLdfire N SMASH!
I was sleeping around 7:00 AM yesterday morning and I heard a familiar tune on MTV2 and I turned my head and it was Nicki Minaj's new video! I WAS SCREAMING because this was the first time in a long time that I had even seen a video premiere on Music Television v. premiering on the internet and then the it'll come on television days after!
I really like the video and I want to assume that the part where Nicki Minaj was in the Blond wig was her as "Roman Zolanski" b/c I was telling ppl that at in my house! lol
The fight scene was a bit random to me when I first saw the video b/c the song was a bit slow to even have a fighting scene in it and when she died at the end I kinda though it was something new and innovative b/c it's been a long time since I've seen the main character not get the guy in the end. So I thought it was pretty cool the 2nd time I saw it just aw it on MTV2 then again on MTV!
I really like this music video but it' pretty odd to me that she still doesn't have an album name as of yet!

It's nicely done, and true, very well put together in comparison to massive attack, which I also loved BECAUSE that was such a trainwreck.
This video still had that campyness going, which I feel is Minaj's signature style, so it works.
