Once again I've like to introduce everyone to an artist I've been meaning to post about for some time now. Now 18 year-old singer/songwriter miss Sky Ferreira who signed a deal last year with Parlophone/EMI. She is currently getting ready to release her debut album later this year! Ferreira is a girl with a lot to offer and I'm in love with everything from her unique voice to her great style. Last year she released buzz track "17" which generated much attention. Now you can check out her official debut single "One" produced by Bloodshy & Avant (Britney Spears, BoA). LOVE this girl! she's like a young Brooke Shields in the 80's I get her style. this song is more international and hotter than that "17" song she released in May. this girl needs more fame!

and something in the meLody N synth sounds kept making me think of gwen stefani's "reaL thing" N "serious" which distracted me for most of the song from the song =0/ [wordy phrasing, LoL]
i don't see this really taking off in the US however that's not necessarily a bad thing...
i could see it excelling over in the uk; they're more abstract N diversified in their musical appetites than us here in the states...
She has Alexis Bledel's eyes! So pretty!

I like both songs. Her cover is very nicely done and adds a different touch than the original. Her music video shows sophistication beyond her years. Very nice. I'm digging her style.

Same thing goes for when Jon/Ali put up mariana & the diamonds then a day later iLeaks did. Everyone is posting about this girl so it doesn't really matter who put it up first.
